A good starting point for most cigars is to choose a good barley based beverage or a single malt scotch. If you like wine and you have a relatively spicy cigar you may want to consider a barley wine which has a fruity flavor that will go nicely with the flavor of the cigar. Combining a spicy stogie with a beer that has a fruity flavor or a wine can enhance the experience by bringing out the best in both products.
